E.Digital names board member San Diego-based e.Digital Corp. has named Allen Cocumelli to its board of directors. Cocumelli is the chief operating officer and general counsel of SimpleNet, the San Diego Internet business acquired recently by Yahoo! Inc. E.Digital, formerly known as Norris Communications, has been developing portable digital devices that can link to personal computers and the Internet. The company has never reported a profit, and disclosed an accumulated deficit of $39.6 million for the quarter ended June 30. signonsandiego.com

Tinroad -- that was a FANTASTIC post: I took a position in EDigital last week, after reading up on the company. I was particularly impressed with the alliances they have formed with giants like Lucent, Intel and IBM. However, trying to read the posts on RB about this company is painful -- idiots either shouting that it's heading to $20 or $0.20! Thanks for laying out, in readable fashion, exactly what EDigital is doing. I think that your post nicely puts the company's activities into focus. Netstockfiend
