OSIP well in the green right off--although
balanced out by an equally large red number in
you-know-what, heheh--yeah it'll do okay, thanks
for the nod Rick.

You know, I can't even say for sure what all
led up to those stocks being on the list--one
forgets how you get to your destination when
you're really just exploring along the route.

I would not be surprised if it was mainly the
Aris Persidis in Nature Biotech from November of
last year that set me on this, er, pathway.
Of course I'd feel alot better now if I'd gone
with Sugen somewhere along the line, and Vertex
should have made it in there, but somehow got
skipped. Ariad has a been a big pain in my
backside--quote now is ~84x88 cents, and that
means that the series C guys will get more even
more shares this month, I could just puke.

Of course it does not help that BBRS has had a buy
out the whole time...and I don't see anybody doing any
buying, except me of course. Actually, what seems
to happen is the MM will walk it down on low volume,
and then a big batch will change hands at the new lower
price. What a scam. Of course you don't know if it's
a deal a couple of fund managers have worked out ahead
of time to swap stuff super cheap, or whether it's the
same block of shares going around the MM circuit. Who
can say, but it sucks.

But now I'm maxed out--and by buying too much ARIA too
soon I've managed to nuke all my gains for the year...
yup, for the second time this year (the other time
being post-Magainin) I'm right back where I
started--a big ZERO for my gain on the year.
Rant rant rant.

I like to put something nice at the end of my long
posts, just for those kind enough to slog through all
my bickering. If you folks have not already seen it,
here is a freebie online genomics journal:

physiolgenomics.physiology.org
I had trouble opening some of the links...for instance,
I had to right click on some urls and open a new browser--
you may have to do that to get at "Functional genomics:
technological challenges and opportunities". Or go here:
physiolgenomics.physiology.org
--A good one for biotech newbies especially.
