I agree with you about Barrons. Same old story there. But, DELL's under $600 PC's will not have the smae profit margin as its upper range models. Bad assumption on your part. But, what DEL misses in profit margin, it will make up in volume. Look at the INTC story and Celeron.

Suppose cheaper items by Dell and others coincide with much smaller sales of higher priced items and lower margins on higher priced items...
