Re: It put Nintendo back in the game... Nintendo's market share tanked after it started using Rambus, but that really had nothing to do with Rambus, just poor management on Nintendo's part. But that might not have been the best example to use :-) Rambus can be very good for video devices like video game consoles and video cards. Rambus should be successful in those areas. But even Samsung, Rambus's biggest cheerleader among the memory manufacturers has just introduced SGDRAM as a video card DRAM solution that they claim outperforms current Rambus, is lower in cost, and simpler to implement since it is configured more like existing memory.
