Update...9/07/99
I got certs today for 45K of CAPX Corporation.
Called the co' about their cusip # seems that the cert does NOT
match the cusip # that the co gave me.
the plot thickens...
On cert # 124767104
From co' # 052786100
Broker now getting More involved on my behalf <ggg>
(seems they like my deal and info from SEC filings and the FACT
that all MM's sign a form that they are informed as to the status
of the underlying securities that they trade <ggg>)
Off the record comment about the SEC from within,
"The more stink that is made the more likely
that something will get done"

SEC chief counsel phone (direct private)# 202-942-0061
Reg # 202-942-0073

Why can MM's short a stock that is not yet issued from the co.?

Why don't they have to cover?

We want our shares of NEWLY issued AUTL stock not a cancelled stock.
Is it legal to trade in cancelled stock and if so is OK to buy
a 1 Million share CANCELLED IBM cert and sell it into the market
and keep the $132 million ?
