I just repurchased COST after selling it to buy QWST(what a dud) Not as bad as my decision to sell COST to buy PIR late last year. Actually, I don't know whether COST will be affected positively by Y2K fears; I've always viewed it as being a company that will do well regardless of the economy. In a booming economy it participates in the increased spending; during a recession, it benefits from consumers shopping for better prices to save money.
