Nihil, your opinion is just that. But the truth is that Paul was commissioned by Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel, of which he did an outstanding job. As to being a renegade Jew I can only suppose that you read something he wrote and it just didn't settle right with you so this is your way of retaliating. Sure is easy to sit in the seat of the scornful isn't it?

"I think Paul was very badly confused. He had license to correct Genesis. After all, he was a renegade Jew who had no authority to revise the traditions of the people he had abandoned."

Jesus is the God of Genesis and had full authority to commission Paul to give forth the revelations the Holy Spirit gave him. Jesus commissioned Paul in the same way he commissioned Moses and the Prophets to speak forth God's Word.

Paul did not correct Genesis, but revealed, through the Holy Spirit, the spiritual essence of Genesis.

Paul was a renegade Jew as long as he followed the rabbinical authorities who rejected and Crucified Jesus. On the road to Damascus, Paul abandoned his rebellion against Jesus, the God of Torah, and became a follower of the faith of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
The Jews who followed Christ were no renegades, but faithful followers of the spirit of the Old Testament and Prophets. It was the rabbinical authorities who rejected Jesus who were renegades in rebellion against the author of the Torah and the Prophets.

It's very important to compare the source of your historical knowledge about Jesus with the Christian source.

Christians get their knowledge about Jesus from the eyewitness historical documents found in the New Testament. The New Testament documents were written by Jewish disciples who were with Jesus constantly during his three years of public ministry.

Let us compare these eyewitness accounts with the rabbinical sources.
Modern Talmudic Judaism relies on three primary sources for the life of Jesus: the Babylonian Talmud, the Toledoth Yeshu( the history or generations of Jesus), and Khazaria.
The "historical" information about Jesus in the Talmud was transmitted orally for hundreds of years before it was written. Rabbinical references to Jesus in the Talmud are clearly myths and fables written by irrational antagonists.
The Toledoth Yeshu(rabbinical history of Jesus) was written in the sixth century. Again, the Toledoth is clearly a book of fables and myths intended to denigrate Jesus.
In the eleventh century, Rabbi ha-Levi inserted a section on Christ and Christianity in his work KAHAZARIA.

The teachings of the Toledoth, the Talmud and Khazaria are the central doctrinal sources on Jesus during the formation of modern rabbis in rabbinical schools.

These are also the sources for your condemnation of Paul, Christ and Christianity. You have chosen to deny the eyewitness accounts of the Jewish disciples in favor of the hearsay myths and fables of the rabbinical Talmudic tradition.

Christians are honest and forthright about their sources in the New Testament. Why can't the modern antichrist Jews be honest and forthright about their sources in the Talmud and the Toledoth Yeshu?
