That's quite an article, JC. Thanks for the post. I hope that message gets out loud and clear to the market next week. The more people get it, the higher the SUNW share price goes.

I don't read Infoworld much...I guess it's not an M$ idolator lackey publication of the ZD variety. Maybe I'll subscribe <g>.

Office Suite hosting for thin clients is huge! I think this opens up an area of the business that SUNW had in mind for years. That is, to allow large server farm hosting firms to do the "heavy lifting" for both small businesses; library and hotel data centers, and individuals. This could allow the average novice computer user to plug in a cheap network computer (thin client) into a network which will provide not only an office suite but a storage solution for his files. What will be huge, is if the network is reached for the office suite over AOL or over AOL instant messenger.

This also makes the competition between SUNW and IBM intense. IBM has e-suites Office suite which can do the same as StarOffice.

The loser is Microsoft, who cannot compete in this "Network Office Suite" arena, NOW. But, you know MSFT, they will come out with a thin client MSOffice and become a player. The problem for MSFT is "lead time". They have lost the momentum.
