yes, Macmillian discusses Delta Neutral positions, which simply means you are not net long or short. Thus, the profit must be based on time decay of the options.

I am not seasoned. I learned everything I know about investing since the beginning of this year. I wasn't making money, so I started lurking SI and landed here, on Herms thread. Everything you need to know about making money can be found on this thread. I got sidetracked into many different aspects of investing, and got heavily involved in market timing and technical analysis. I have been doing mostly paper trading this year and building my investment stake (I am 90% cash. I just noticed cash and crash are pretty similar <g>).

Books
How to make money in stocks by william O'neill
MacMillian: options as a strategic investment and Macmillian on options
Technical Analysis of the Financial MArkets by John J. Murphy
Point and Figure Charting by Thomas J. Dorsey
Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques and Beyond Candlesticks by Steve Nison
Candlestick Charting Explained by Gregory Morris (Nison is superior but morris does some summation candlestick stuff that I find useful)
Services
Stocksmartpro (approx $15/mo)
Dorseywright (approx $25/mo.)

If you read all that and follow Herms' thread and the MDA thread, in eight months, you will know what I know.

Good Luck!
