ericy G* handsets will be GSM cell/sat modes. the G* sat mode is cdma based. Qcom is making the cdma cell/sat mode G* handsets.

G* Simi-Operational?? Where can I buy/use a Dual or tri mode G*CDMA/CDMA/AMPS handset today or during the next couple of months. We have heard that it is operational, but as far as I know, Airtouch is not selling the service. Is any operator in N or S America currently selling the service. When will they do so?
