Hello Royco. I finally found the old SI. Sheesh. Thank God. Yes, I second your post. I have found Greenspan to be very good but like I wrote in one of my posts last week, this insane inflation fighting is really not IT any more. I like your "wealth destructive" phrase. I mentioned this saying: You don't take an aspirin just in case you have a headache tomorrow. Plenty time to worry about inflation especially with this uncertain Y2K stuff. Who knows what exactly some of those cos. are doing to prepare for Y2K. Probably stacking up a bit like the rest of us just in case there is a little problem in the early weeks of 2000. So even if there WAS a bit of inflation, it could be a false call. Well, let's see what happens. Sonny
