Watch Lists and Favorites.. having some good stocks to watch is fine, but entering them at the right time is imperative. We had EXTR on the 11th. and SDLI on the 13th. GNSS and PHCM on the 20th and ADAP and MU on the 19th. (We had ASWX #1 on 18th at 13 1/2 and it went up as high as 20 1/2 on August 27),OCLI, ETYS, EELN on the 18th and OCLI again on the 23, which was a good day we had NTCT,CMDX EMLX and NITE on that same list. We had NTOP twice on the 11th and on the 17th.. HITS, GETY on the 24th.. and a slew of others. But the point is that eventually they get overbought or go into a corrective stage (i.e. HLIT,SNDK, EXTR) and we have to wait to get back in. The buy and hold theory might have worked with KIDE but it won't necessarily work with some of the others. MU played out very well from 19th as did ADAP but now they look overbought to me. ICN was good for a while until that too went into a correction and then came back in play again. and so on..same as HSAC, ENTU, AHAA,RIMM, SNDK and AUDC. What I wouldn't do is dare short any of these winners until I was absolutely sure they had no more upward momentum. Many have shorted NTOP and PHCM too quickly and BRCX which had 1 or 2 down days (I shorted) but then went onto yet another uptrend.
