I guess AG was paving the way for the Oct hike. He wants gradual market decrease, instead of a sudden drop. He was sending the infomation to the big boys.

Alf, easy AL has presided over what is perhaps the greatest bubble in history fueled ,in part,by excessive monetary ease. IMO he should have raised rates long ago and with more force. To date he has done everything possible to perpetuate the bubble so I am reluctant to read to much into his tough talk. Mike

alf, More important than the rate rise, which I think will happen, is that Greenspin is likely to tighten credit, the last support leg of this manic bull.
