Liberals tend to be deeply entrenched in academia. And as we all know, liberals are most intolerant folk. My mother used to work in administration at a world renowned institution of higher education. She was always afraid to make her political leanings (conservative) be known lest she suffer for it. I understand that several of the faculty who were also right wingers went to extraordinary lengths to conceal their political views from their fellow faculty members. This is the liberal idea of academic diversity. JLA
