Recently, I had my brother here from England and he ordered some more memory for his laptop - UK billing address, US Shipping address..... It took us over three weeks to sort it out..... (amazing how many companies simply aren't set up for foreign CCs and aren't setup for different billing/shipping address.) The point is that interactive systems are able to respond more intelligently to situations that differ from standard transactions than non-interactive systems. As we progress we'll see interactivity used more and more as the way to close high value sales on the Internet - lots of people are browsing, looking and putting stuff in shopping baskets - but those sales aren't getting closed. Anything that increases the chances of closing those sales - for the airline ticketing business that means increasing the look-to-book ratio - is going to become a valuable piece of technology. Plus (as IFLY followers know) - the money is in the agent interaction not in automated sales. Cheers Mark
