Sorry about that link, two times I had it and it faded away. Good way to find it is look up "SEC Probes Short-Selling Abuses by Day Traders" here on Text Search.... some other threads have it too.. would work better than me posting a link that I'm not so good with yet on the new SI. The article's interesting as it explains how we weren't crazy seeing how trades were screwy and unbalanced; how "we wuz wronged" and if the finger is being pointed at this, there's probably something lurking larger in the background worth watching too. There's always an opportunity to make lemonade from lemons, if you know what I mean.
MSGI's pushed thru 18 several times and fallen back again, Joe. Near term, it may do it again...but one of these days it'll keep on going up again, too. Too many goodies in the package for it not to. For now, QuackQuack.
Good luck to anyone playing with fire shorting GNET or any Level 1 net. At least holding long, all there is to lose is a loss on the basis if it goes down, can't lose more money than was put into it...or risk an untimely call if the stock borrowed on is sold by the holder - when it's at a high is usually when that happens, DUH (when its done right by a broker, that is)timing's out of control. Not for me.
Here's a nice link for a looky netnet.munder.com
the holdings and comments are interesting. I have some of this and it's done well. Though not as well as would have done trading these same stocks individually, 2B expected.
Carolyn Thanks, and Joe Thanks for being the final omen in our decision for Tigerlily not to have kittens. Only way we would now is if we line up 5 homes first and doubt that'll happen. More kittens wouldn't increase the number of folks wanting to take one, so probly this is best. We'll find her another nice cat for a companion after she recovers. Little kittens here and keeping her favorite daughter would have been so nice, but for the rest of them their future would be too uncertain and we'd be responsible. The empty basket, the pet store with older kittens, your post...sez it all.
909s and HOLD ONTO THE BAR til next time,
Joanie
