Until I got a level II setup with a direct order entry broker, I was using Datek Streamer and the ISLD book viewer. Yes, it helps to have two monitors so you can see everything at once. It takes time and practice, but you will be able to watch a streaming level I along with a 1-min chart and be able to tell when a stock is about to turn. The 1-min and 5-min charts are good for finding an entry. I always try to draw in a trendline if I see a trend. Then I will try to enter near the trendline. And as long as the trend is maintained then I will stay in my position. ...tai
