I agree entirely and I could not have put it better myself. Compaq has recently taken many of the classic steps associated with enhancing shareholder value - firing the Chief Executive, divesting of unprofitable subsidiaries (AV is still unprofitable in spite of its obvious potential), outsourcing manufacturing and rationalising its distribution.

I like this trend.
