Why does Abby cohen think 10250 on dow and 1325 on S&P
will be year-end targets? That is a DOW 10% lower than
today. She came on face the nation and made the prediction
apparently.

Also, what does the thread think about 9/9/99 effect.
That is going to be next week.

"position in the market."

hard to have a higher position in their respective markets than coca cola or gillette. yet both stocks are lower than they were two years ago despite a record bull market.

getting into dell, csco, msft and ge, in my case, rather than coke or gillette was mostly luck.

i don't know where dell will take me. however i'm leaving my chips there on the basis that they will soon set the environment and the rules of the game regarding hardware like microsoft does with software.
