tom, in addition to the lack of basic investment analysis on the part of whittington, i noticed he failed to address the FACT that samsung has made money - w/ much more aggressive depreciation schedules - while mu has lost money. hmmmm, that isn't relevant, is it? ;-) micron is only a few years beyond the biggest BOOM in dram and they have been forced to borrow $1.5 BILLION just to stay in business! at breakeven eps, micron's actual cash balance drops $1.5 - $2.0 MILLION a DAY! now, what type of person pays top dollar for those numbers? i haven't even added the fact that the only reason these numbers are good is that this is the best selling time of the year. look out if all those pcs don't sell to end users.
