I am interested to know what you mean by D&A.

Well GH I would probably cry a lot. Also, our golf tournament would likely be delayed.

Fortunately I am in at good prices with lots of cover at current levels - also, your questions are the very reason I have been buying WML with my latest purchases.

In the world of wildcats the surprise must be that Cal Canal would be productive - the normal percentages are against us. However, when there are cannons to the right and cannons to the left - one should not be too surprised if there are more cannons around this famous valley.

As for BKP#1 - I would be more suprised and in fact disappointed. I assume that the blowout has demonstrated that the extent of the reservoir is large. I trust that with BKP in charge the targets have been chosen carefully. If it is Dry and abandoned then they would have to do more home work and aim more carefully.

I think the guys at Project Ekho should ask themsevles this one very carefully - although there are indications of hydrocarbons at depth there as well.

Bob

Good Evening Grayhairs...

As always, a conservative and reasonable postulation. I have considered Cal Canal as just a wildcat possibility in my figuring so any commercial find in that area will certainly be positive, although may be met negatively in the short term by wild eyed investors and brokers. I give it less than a 10% chance.

As to BKP#1 I find it difficult to imagine a D & A, especially after reading the research reports as well as the description of the 2x14 mile anticlinal structure that brought the JV to ELH in the first place. Could you or Salt&Peppa give us any structural reasons why BKP#1 could be D & A?

I can certainly imagine other complications associated with BKP#1 but D & A is just not one of them. I don't believe the JV and BKP would invest in that deep Nabors rig if they felt they were dealing with wildcat percentages....

Have a great evening.....Stephen
