UCOMA (former UIHIA) and UPCOY is a good example. With UPCOY at 59 and change you can buy 1.92 shares by buying UCOMA at 73. Additionally UCOMA now owns 77% of Austar who has a market value of around 1 bil, or 750 mil to UCOMA or $25/share. Add that to the rough value of their UPCOY shares of $115 at market and you get a feel for how these holdings are discounted with Austar and UPCOY holdings marked at $140/share of UCOMA.
Best Regards,

Oh, I don't doubt for one minute that there was short covering at those levels....and I suspect that it continued well above the entry points of many of those vocal shorts we've come to know and love..I love shorting too but this stock is a terrible one to short, if your goal is to make any meaningful money...six points on a few hundred shares is nice but not worth the aggravation..you wanna short, try a several hundred shares of ntop!! Then fwiw, I'd be impressed
