<Anforse reportedly made the comments following a dispute with the owner of a riding stable over a
misplaced rein.

"Among Ericsson's corporate values is the word 'respect,"' Anderson said - repeating it in Hebrew, "Kavod"
- "and what happened during this session in the stable is not a show of respect for the Jewish people."

Anderson apologized "to the whole Jewish people" and said the entire family had been sent back to Sweden.

She's in good company! Patriotism, nationalism and other tribalisms such as the racist and genderist CBlock auction are just less egregious manifestations of the same hostile atavism.

Jews in Israel should not be too prissy when one considers the tribalism exhibited by them under the cloak of religious zealotry. Which is not to say she is right, for those too obtuse to take the trouble to understand what I mean. It's just that she is in very good company. Check out Kosovo, Northern Ireland and the good old USA for heaps of examples of such us/them good guys/bad guys thinking. It was on this very thread that somebody thought that Chinese don't value human life like sacred Americans do. Check out the Waco thread for the value placed on human life and what happens to defiant people be they in Waco or Tiananmen Square.

Right here in Noo Zeeland we are creating tribalism of ethnic, religious and other types with consequences which won't be any better than the same idea elsewhere.

She didn't come up with that idea in isolation. People express the culture they live with. Let's see now, what have we seen of Ericy culture over the past 5 years? Is this consistent with other unpleasant manifestations of that culture? I think it is. Motorola has expressed their culture over the years too and they have just suffered another loss and had perhaps better get ready for a really big shock if Q! wins the patent and royalties case too!

When I coined the phrase GSM Nazis [in response to Bill Frezza's "CDMA Mafia" and accusations of fraud on the part of Qualcomm and Irwin Jacobs], to explain the devious way in which Ericy and the GSM gang were making absurd claims and putting out propaganda I didn't realize just how accurate that might be!

Ericsson's corporate values include "respect" apparently. I guess in the world of hagfish, respect has a slightly different meaning from elsewhere. Maybe it's like those corporate mission statements and other nonsense where people salute it but don't really have any idea what it actually said and sure don't bother with it 10 minutes later.

Maybe the stable owner stole her reins and she gave a curse such as one does in the middle east "May a thousand camels and a million fleas infest your tent and may all your ancestors and relatives be recognized as infidels, heathens, gentiles and scum of the earth to be burned in oil for a hundred years." Well, they do in the comics I used to read. We haven't heard yet about the reins and the actual "misplaced rein". Is this a thief shouting 'racism' to conceal his crime? She at least understood the scale of the evil of the Nazis.
