Mark,
I don't know what the problem is but I am not short cmgi.
I own shares in hopes of getting navi and future ipos. Also,
I'm not spreading rumors. This is the exact text of the email I got from cmgi when I asked about the DSP

"From: "Kelly, Mary Jean" <MKelly@cmgi.com>

Subject: RE: Directed Share Program
Date: Fri, 20 Aug 1999 14:48:00 -0400

CMGI is now evaluating the Direct Share Program based on the response and
results of the Engage IPO. In consultation with our Board of Directors, we
will make a decision about future Direct Share offerings in the weeks ahead.
As previously announced, our intention is to continue the program for future
majority-owned company IPOs, but we reserve the right to end the program if
we feel it necessary.

If we decide to continue the program for the NaviSite IPO, we will likely
announce that in the form of a press release. Shareholders should be
patient and monitor the website for any announcement in the coming weeks."

Based on the above, I think it's a good idea for shareholders to let cmgi know if they like the program.
