Nandu:
Greetings. I have a cousin, named NandaGopal. I was reminded of him, when I saw you name.
1: Yes, I am guilty of sensationalizing Sonia-Monica ref. by G.Fernandes. It was more in the spirit of portraying them as cartoon characters and nothing more. Its effect is transient, benign and good for a laugh or two.
2:Seriously, Sonia was a good wife and an obeying daughter-in-law and is a good mother. Sonia can not claim any political experience as compared to Vajpayee. Qualifications for her present post as the head of Congress party and prime Ministership are nill or nonexistent. The very fact that she got in to this situation under self-serving & self-promoting pressure from Congress indicates her lack of judgment and an overwhelming desire to become a Prime Minister of India under the aegis of dynastic arrogance and claim to power without parallel claim to qualifications.
2:I note that BJP is an all-India party, just like Congress. It is a good sign in that in the future we will have fewer parties. These politically expedient ever-shifting and "morphing" alliances will eventually lead to a fusion, eventual assimilation and formation of major parties eg Congress, BJP etc.
