I don't recall anyone on this thread stating that WAVX was home free because of their membership in this group. How you can determine that it is meaningless, however, is beyond me; you surprisingly noted: "My take is that these companies will merely try to set parameters for the industry." As you may recall, Larry Ascherman and I both reacted with astonishment at your unbelievable use of the word "merely." You didn't seem to be using the word "merely" ironically, and having WAVX at the table when standards for security are being established hardly seems to indicate use of the word "merely," in my mere opinion...

Yes, Tex, "Memberships don't guarantee a winner." If you can't win an argument, at least you're good at setting up straw men, vigorously knocking them down, and then crowing about it. Good job...
