Walt, you may be right, but...

Mad2 has been challenging this thread for 9 months now... He was short back in January when the stock ran to 15 and made a little money on the retreat. He probably traded the stock better than most of us longs...at that time... If he says he has no position then I believe him...I just don't understand his disdain for the company. Never did anything for him but make him a little money. Of course, some people can't walk away from an investment which makes them money until it burns them....If he short this again, unless timing is precise, he will get burned.

Frankly, I don't see a VPHM kind of move for GUMM if NEJM publishes... Because the product is already out there on the shelves, I feel that the share price will be able to sustain a large percentage of any surge that results from a surprise announcement.

The cold market is so large, I find it difficult to believe that anybody in their right mind would want to be short this stock. It is a bit like playing Russian roulette with a two chambered pistol. Funny thing is he already misfired once.

I am not trying to talk anyone out of shorting this stock. I am very comfortable with a large short position as long as it isn't mine.

OT...I bought a little MSGI today.

Regards,

Mike
