I thought the fact that big Al was futzing around with earnings concepts pretty scary in itself.

Certainly agree with that. Thanks to Clint, I did. Am still muddy on the expensing vs amortization because, as Clint pointed out, it seems preferable to expense. Regardless, it seemed that Mr. G. was saying that the companies who benefited from one approach (darned if I'm sure which) were pretty much balanced by those penalized by the other -(the balance) having nothing to do with option stuff which was another subject.

Wonder if YNOT is busy shorting APLX ;-)
