SAN JOSE, Calif., Aug. 31 /PRNewswire/ -- Agile Software Corporation (Nasdaq: AGIL - news),
a provider of product content management solutions for e-supply chains, today announced the
appointment of Gregory G. Schott as vice president of business development. In the role, Schott will
bring his senior management expertise to Agile's business development and strategic partnership
initiatives.

``Greg brings a track record of success in marketing, operations and business development, along
with a deep background in developing and deploying technology solutions for business-to-business
e-commerce, and hands-on experience in manufacturing and supplier management,' said Bryan D.
Stolle, CEO at Agile. ``We look forward to Greg's contributions as he develops partnerships and
new business opportunities for Agile and members of the e-supply chain.'

Prior to assuming his position at Agile, Schott held several roles -- including vice president of

Systems, a software developer and service provider that aggregates and distributes media content
via the Internet, digital satellite and virtual private networks. During his tenure, Schott presided over
a twenty-fold growth in the company's revenue, and most recently led the development and

holds an MBA from Stanford University.

``I'm very excited to join the Agile team,' said Schott. ``Our products provide a strategic solution for
companies that depend on flexible, high velocity supply chains and seek to leverage the power of the
Internet to bring their products to market faster. I look forward to building on the company's
momentum and successes.'
