DMG -

already agreed with you that globe trotting roamers are by in large already lost unless prices are CHEAP CHEAP

Interesting. I can only talk from my own experience. I was with oneof my pals over the weekend who is Chairman of a rather large publicly held real estate company.

He proudly showed me his new Iridium handset. He is equiping all his travelling management people with them. He paid so much for a prepaid chunk of minutes and uses a credit card to fill up again when its run out. He says its $3 a minute.

When I told him about G* he was delighted and will wait till they do anything else to get the smaller G* phones. He'll change his as soon as he sees the G* handset.

There are quite a few palces on earth where GSM is patchy or doesn't exist and that people travel to. I keep citing Germany for instance. OK in towns but on the road its really isn't muc use and in trains too outside of the towns.

Shipping and Yachts are yet another example. I don't say msot people will be giving up their regular mobile phones. The first G* mobile phone market is for people who need to be in touch or kept in touch. And there are plenty of them nad when they go travelling they will take their G* with and from next month on they might take their regualr mobiles with.

Best regards,

L
