I like selling puts on energy and energy service stocks near their historic bottoms. I don't see the sector going any way but up from here.

I sold some Feb 12-1/2 puts on XTO the other day at $2-1/16, which was well above the Black-Scholes model price. I see no way that XTO will sell for anything less than $15 in February 2000. If it does, then I won't mind chalking up $12-1/2 per share, for a net cost of $10-7/16.
