That's a bad assumption, bp; to be honest, I don't know who Vias is. I was referring to companies like Hitachi, Samsung, Fujitsu, NEC, etc. who have signed up reluctantly to manufacture rdram, but have been deploying massive resources to develop non-royalty approaches.
