Duke - <What impact does this have on CSCO?< Hopefully a good one, as the incorporate these programmable solutions with their boxes. I.e., they are a prime target customer for such a device. Also Lucent and Nortel. May also compete with Lucent, I'm not sure. I believe Broadcom might also be both a competitor and a customer. TI would be a competitor, along with a host of ASIC companies/ designs. However, projected market is supposed to be to the tune of $90B plus by 2005. Barrett said he is especially excited about this business as recently as last week, breathing the comment in the same paragraph as Merced. PB
