Imagine - a company started by a venture capitalist - going for >$6B in a private sale to Cisco...

Imagine a startup able to go in against some very large transport vendors like LU and TLAB and kick their butt repeatedly with a superior product. Not sure that's worth $7B, but like you said, that CSCO currency is so inflated, what's a few billion among friends. In any event, its been awhile since the CSCO sales force has had a superior product to sell besides a router or a LAN switch. :) Only time will tell if the price was too high. The market doesn't think so.

BTW, should CSCO stock drop, the price of the deal drops right along with it. There is no collar.
