thank you Richard, independence is a scary thing :)

it is hard to accomplish in the trading environment for many more reasons than i know, and my comment/effort with respect to sentiment is understanding why things may be happening

my naive opinion is that price activity in a stock/sector often can't predict anomolies, for example;

--IPO related runups LINUX companies in sympathy to RHAT (i won't bother listing them, but they're listed all over SI)

my dd process has included TA (candlesticks), Fundamental analysis from SEC postings, company information and PR's, market and sector information and technology overviews

i also like to search SI and see who is saying what, long and short
while this may be irrelevant to daytrading and TA related trading, that's what turns my crank :)

Quotes Plus+MS EOD is what i have settled on and am looking for tick data to build MS intraday pseudo equity to combine with my sentiment research

sorry for the long post, and you are right, independence should be the goal, but MM's and VC's can also 'paint the tape', so there you go :)

thank you for the benefit of your experience
ynot ;)

Is ensign a package, or we you referring to Adv GET?

"I also use DTN sat. feeding ensign, a great package often missed by those that don't do their homework"

ynot ;)
