Except that they didn't start this situation- you have to have nasty people who believe in something nasty to get the ball rolling, before your moderates become a problem- and here you blame them for inaction. The blame should rest squarely on the shoulders of the primary actors- where it belongs (imo- obviously)- because an action is always more important than inaction-imo of course ( when evaluating moral conduct- I have a duty NOT to push you over a cliff, but I have no duty to save you if you fall, or if someone else pushes you- I may choose to save you anyway, but I think I would be doing something extremely altruistic if I did. Whereas refraining from pushing you is not altruistic) you and neocon can blame moderates if you want to, I just don't think it is very reasonable.
