Free Star release - couple of points to remember: 1. individual use only 2. Most of MS office suite revenue comes from commercial use. As I stated after playing with Star Office, I would use it if I didn't already have MS office. I think most people fall into the same category. The apps/environment are different enough to require some re-learning. Re-learning and perhaps less functionality will keep the commercial clients with the tried and true solution : MS Office.
