Won't touch the age issue...you said it, not me...I already got the nasty gram... I don't [know] what your problem is with older people. Wouldn't want another tirade about age and wisdom... USMA95 P.S. EP (the German one) got ousted eventually, but now CPQ is still in the $22-$23 range...no changes so far. If the same bodes for NAVR, not a good sign for the faithful...

But they got rid of Pfeiffer! It's an AGE thing. I don't know, Annette. I bought 5000 shares of CPQ stock in 1994 for a split adjusted $6 and sold most of it in 1998 at around $30. That was Eckhard Pfeiffer. He wasn't THAT much younger in 1994! Craig Barrett, Andy Grove and John Chambers have done pretty well for me also (and they are not young...) Good management has little to do with age. Just as youth (as shown often on this thread) is not always full of enlightenment... JB
