My precious grandchild came home from preschool at 3 announcing "guns are bad"...what is a preschool doing discussing guns? I of course answered "No they are as good as the person using them : if I were using one to protect you then the gun would be very good indeed". Freeus

Boy did you hit the nail on the head that time. All too much of this goes back to the brainwashing of public education. Education in America isn't about teaching kids how to think; it's about teaching kids what to think. It gets worse all the time. I learned early in school that the worst thing one could do is to think independently, and that was 20 years ago. With the "self-esteem" bull*t, it's gotten that much worse. Now kids are not only reprimanded for thinking for themselves, they're rewarded for not thinking. "It takes a village" my a. Reminds me of Brave New World. Man, now I'm really depressed.
