I agree with your analysis of option action...and there has just been way too much "discussion" of Rambus option plays. I smell a big rat. Everyone from TheStreet.com to posters on various boards to the Rambus marketmaker in the pits of Chicago has an opinion on the right play this week. Then, all of a sudden, the premium dries up. Right. I do believe more folks are writing puts than buying them right now. As to the shorts, I really can't get any feeling for what they are doing right now. I know I would be scared to death to be shorting this stock right now. They should be buying some form of insurance, but don't know how it plays out in the "real world".
