Jing - I don't know if you've ever bought an airplane before, but there are a number of issues surrounding civil aircraft that may make it highly unlikely if not nearly impossible to auction one, let alone to a few strangers out on the Internet auction sites.

First, you would never buy an airplane without a thorough review of the logs and a physical inspection by a qualified mechanic, not to mention a check ride. There's more paperwork than you can imagine, including the folks at the FAA who keep track of the registrations of all aircraft, over and above the state and local taxing entities.

These transactions can take weeks, even months, and involve a lot of haggling and back and forth.

The other factor is that because of the dollars involved, third-party financing has to be arranged in almost all cases, and the entity that finances the airplane doesn't just run out and cut a check the same day you call them about your winning bid on ebay - they hire people to go over the paper-trail and the airplane as well.

I think there's just too many holes in the bucket for these kinds of items, Jing.
