Pretty boring NR - Here is the details Cross Lake progress on Sheraton-Timmins and Ladybug properties Cross Lake Minerals Ltd CRN Shares issued 32,782,665 Aug 30 close $0.22 Mon 30 Aug 99 News Release Mr. Henry Ewanchuk reports Cross Lake Minerals has released the following update on its activities. Sheraton-Timmins property Previous induced polarization work identified a 900-metre anomaly on strike immediately to the northeast of the Cross Lake zone. A deep pulse electromagnetic survey is in the process of being completed over a one-kilometre square area covering the IP anomaly. The results of the survey, along with data from recently completed whole rock studies, will be used to identify drill targets within the large IP anomaly area. Sheraton-Timmins is the company's most advanced property on which more than $4.12-million has been spent to date. The company remains optimistic regarding the potential of the property and is committed to advancing the property and resuming drilling as is appropriate. Ladybug property A follow-up program of mapping and soil sampling has just been completed over a 1,000-metre-by-1,000-metre grid covering anomalous chargeability areas on the zinc-silver-copper-lead Ladybug property, 44 kilometres north of Salmon Arm, B.C. The previous program of magnetometer and IP surveys identified moderate to highly anomalous chargeability areas, in addition to the known showing. There is a general trend of chargeable lineaments in a northeast to southwest striking trend. The known showing is in a 250-metre-long chargeable zone. There are two other highly chargeable zones to the north of the known showing. The first one is 500 metres in length and the second, with the strongest chargeability and coincident magnetic anomaly, is 200 metres long. Both are still open along strike as they trend off the grid coverage. Results from the mapping and soil sampling program are pending. They will assist in prioritizing targets and determining whether trenching or drilling is required to further test the anomalies. (c) Copyright 1999 Canjex Publishing Ltd. canada-stockwatch.com
