"Once in a while some jest or a called for parry" Not so Robert. Your posts are nasty and sarcastic, not all of the time, but enough to cause the stir that you have caused. There has never been any anti-contrarian view here for its own sake, in over a year and a half that I have been here. Something else has caused the regular posters to respond the way they have and the only thing that this dispassionate observer can see as the cause is the tone of your posts. Go back and read then and see if you would like to be on the receiving end. Perhaps if you think you are just jesting, remember the medium you are using -- no one can see your body language and can only take your words at face value, and they ain't been nice. Your reasoned, impersonal critique I'm sure would be welcome.
