Well, earlier I looked for prior histories on sequential days where the DJIA had 100 point plus drops, based on the Close. That computer is crunching Neural Nets at the moment....but one thing I recall offhand was that this is only the 3rd time it's happened three days in a row (since 1991). I'd have to check once more, but the frequency of happening 4 times in a row was only once, I think. Well, the Nets will be finished in a few minutes.....I'll get the correct number. ========================================= Hmm, the Best Net I have is still Short. Overall they are Flat. The TS system I've been testing is Short the Dec Spoo from 1383, Money Management Stop at 1369.50; Dec Spoo Close was 1341.20 +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ On the 4 day-in-a-row for the DJIA to drop over 100 points issue, it does not appear that it has ever happened before. At least not since '91 anyway. Of course, the size of the DJIA is a heck of a lot bigger than it was even a year ago. Also, it might not drop 100 plus but still drop a small amount. But the two other times it happened, the next day on the first time Closed up 288 (8/31/98) and up 219 on the other time (1/14/99). Also, I see there has not been a string of 4 days running on the SnP that didn't at least bounce at some point on the fourth day after a set of patterns such as we've had. .....and I thought I was going to get some sleep tonight. I never should have started on this, looks like another all-nighter. I'll be in a fine mood tomorrow. If I seem a bit disgruntled in my posts tomorrow, well, it 's because I probably shall be.
