Kanakaris Communications, Inc. (OTC BB:KKRS) launches its
kkrs.net entertainment web portal's NetMovieMania with 18 full-length
movies today bringing full-screen motion picture viewing to the
Internet.
The site is a showcase of technology breakthroughs provided by
Microsoft WindowsMedia 4.0.
Concurrent with the launch, Kanakaris is airing a webcast which
outlines the 1500 man-hour effort being made which will see Kanakaris
add about ten new full-length, full-screen scalable movies every two
to three days until KKRS.Net has an unprecedented 250 full-length,
full-screen movies online in three to four different delivery rates in
Microsoft WindowsMedia 4.0 technology. The Company will continue to
expand the web site thereafter.
Each film can be adjusted by the Internet viewer to cover up to
the full computer monitor screen. For higher bandwidth users, the
experience can approach tv quality video and even better quality
near-CD sound. All users can benefit from the larger screen
capability.
In the webcast (www.kanakaris.com, www.NetBooks.com,
www.KKRS.Net), Darren Grimstead of encoding.com and Bryan Turbow,
President and CEO of LMCI Communications (OTC BB:LMKI) explain the
strategic relationships and roles which their respective companies are
playing to make Kanakaris the No. 1 provider of full-screen,
full-length movies in WindowsMedia 4.0 Technology.
They also address developments in KKRS.Net delivery of music and
e-commerce revenue.

The movies:

Movies which will be available today for viewing in full-screen,

Girl Friday, Mazes and Monsters, The Great St. Louis Train Robbery,

Fang to the Rescue and Keeping Track. Star listings for all 18 films
can be found online at www.KKRS.Net

The revenue:

Kanakaris is planning to sell online advertising, and to sell a
monthly subscription which will provide 24-hour on-demand access to
all movies and features of the NetMovieMania portion of their web
site. The Company is also planning a partner program for film
producers and web sites.

The expansion of Kanakaris, including music content:

encoding.com is developing an OEM web site technology for
Kanakaris which will allow musicians and record labels to directly
post music to the Kanakaris web sites which will be encoded in
Microsoft WindowsMedia technology and will be playable in popular MP3
music players such as RIO.
Kanakaris is becoming a content partner to LMCI Communications,
and LMCI will be syndicating Kanakaris online content to its clients.

The contracts:

Kanakaris has recently signed contracts with Microsoft (an
Internet Content Provider Promotion Agreement), encoding.com, LMCI
Communications and ScreamingMedia.com, among others, to provide
content, technology and promotion to its web sites.
The intent of the contracts is described in the Kanakaris web
cast, and Kanakaris is planning further webcasts, several of which
