NOPE!

You don't seem to understand the meaning of niche! A niche product is one which has a high (segment) market share in a small segment of the market. For example, if 70% of graphic artists used imac for a total of 3% of the over all market, that would be a niche. Niche is by no way only defined as a "small market share".

imac has a very broad user base at this point and it clearly is not a niche product. This article estimates the Apple retail market share at 11.2%.
