Economy is much better now than it was in the late 80's. I remember buying zero's that were paying over 9%. Sure we might get a dip this fall just like every fall for the past decade but I don't think we'll see a bear market until rates get shoot up and inflation goes with them. I'm guessing if that happens it will occur after the next election or if economic policy changes drastically from here. Why would anyone wish for a bad economy/market is beyond me. There is a world outside of your portfolio of puts.
