entertainment web portal's NetMovieMania with 18 full-length movies

Concurrent with the launch, Kanakaris is airing a webcast which
outlines the 1500 man-hour effort being made which will see Kanakaris
add about ten new full-length, full-screen scalable movies every two to

LOS ANGELES, Oct 4, 1999 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- eConnect (OTC BB: ECNC) and
Kanakaris Communications (OTC BB: KKRS), fully reporting companies, have
entered into a strategic alliance to deliver an Internet Cash
Pay-Per-Play downloadable service.

Kanakaris Communications will deliver the streaming entertainment
including live pay per view webcasts utilizing Microsoft Windows Media
Technologies 4.0. eConnect will provide content suppliers with the
ability to be paid with Same-as-Cash(TM) ATM card with PIN payments or
enhanced credit card payments. Initial Beta tests are targeted for
November.

Kanakaris Communications announced last week that is is one of the
companies chosen by Microsoft as part of the Microsoft broad band
initiative to deliver broadcast quality content over the Internet.
