I think you've pretty much captured the experience.

I have been watching the Weather Channel, both the national one, and the local NOAA station that's just a radar image and voice loops. I don't know what Hurricane Dennis is going to do, but the barometric pressure here is rising, so I assume we won't see any of it. But it's stationary offshore, so it could head out to sea or loop back later in the week.

The weather is perfect, about 70 degrees,and sunny, with light clouds.
