You can bet that we probably won't see Moore's Law happen with consumer pricing for music over the internet. The labels will earn even a greater margin, as will the artist I'm sure. All at the expense of the consumer. But hey, what would life be like without "desirable" music? ;~)

"Desirable" music, eh Fred? He just confirmed what I've been thinking all along. That until the labels and their vast library of music, that the masses want, become available for download; this whole internet music phenom will not grow to its ripened state. Personally, I wouldn't buy a player until what I hear on my favorite radio stations is available for d/l on the net. Many others feel the same way. IT'S THE MUSIC, STUPID! (not a comment to you JC)

As far as the volatility, I love it. The smart money is slowly making a position, IMO. All the talk of "long term cap gains" makes me believe that management believes this whole thing could be rocketing 12 mos from now. Or more importantly, 12 mos from when they exercised those options. :~)
